The Aston Hotels annual Maui Banyan owner barbeque dinner was held once again last Thursday night, March 27. The turn-out was great with over 120 owners in attendance to enjoy a western barbeque buffet created by “Beach Bums” Restaurant at the Maalaea Harbor.

The evening stared out with our own entertainer, Facilities Director, John Kane, who shared his musical and vocal talents among many surprised owners! John plays each Thursday and Friday nights down in Lahaina at the Lahaina Pizza Company.
John was just warming up the crowd before the featured attraction, Game Show Fanatics, was introduced. Several teams were formed to play Maui’s version of “Family Feud” placing the Canadian teams against the domestic bunch! Maybe the Canadians drank too much as they came out strong and blew the home team away! Wait till next year!!

How do you measure enjoyment? Well, everyone stayed to the end of the night! Great fun and food made this year’s event hard to beat!

Maui Banyan' annual meeting for ownrs was held at the Spagos Restaurant at the Four Seasons Maui this past Friday, March 15. Spago General Manager Jacques Perwin sponsored the entire event at no charge to the association! Thank you Jacques!
