Jim Carey's retreat was a private, primitive campground set back in the woods of East-Central Georgia. Now closed because I moved to Maui.

We have a beautiful, park-like five acre clearing set on 100 acres of timber and cropland. This is a private, quiet, beautiful place to get away from the world for a day or a month. Bring your tent or RV, or tie your hammock to the trees and sleep under the stars. Water and electric hookups available. Rustic, remote, but easy to get to. One hour south of Augusta, GA, two hours west of Savannah.
