Meet the Dogs of APYC Summer Camp 2026! 🐾

This summer, some very special four-legged friends joined their counselors at camp, and it’s safe to say they quickly became camper favorites!

From cruising around camp on golf carts, to exploring the waterfront, to rolling around in the grass soaking up all the attention, our camp dogs brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail wags wherever they went. The kids absolutely loved getting to spend time with them, and they made every week just a little more special.

To top it all off, during our final week of camp, we were honored to welcome one of our police K9 teams. The campers enjoyed an exciting K9 demonstration and learned about the incredible work these dogs do alongside their police partners. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable summer!

A huge thank you to all of our counselors who shared their furry family members with our campers.

The summer may be over, but our hearts are still at APYC.

Our counselors are already missing the laughter, the campfires, the friendly competitions, the new friendships, and all the unforgettable memories made during Summer Camp 2026. Watching our campers grow in confidence, try new things, and make lifelong memories is what makes every long day worth it.

To all of our campers, families, volunteers, and supporters, thank you for making this summer one we’ll never forget.

The countdown to APYC Summer Camp 2027 has officially begun! We can’t wait to do it all again next year and make even more amazing memories together.
