Neuseway Nature Park Welcome to the Neuseway Nature Park and Ellis Planetarium. Our 55 acre park along the Neuse River is where space and nature meet.

We have interactive science exhibits, numerous indigenous North Carolina plants and animals, train rides, and much much more. Our park is a great place to explore or host your next event. Come check us out and call for more information.

If you find an injured animal and we are not open please do not leave the animal at our door. We do not have veterinary staff or supplies on site. We appreciate any and every person that wants to help wildlife, but the best thing to do is contact a 24 hour veterinary office. Thank you for your understanding.

This beautiful Great Egret is using the "stand and wait" hunting method in one of the ponds at the Nature Park. Egrets often get slimy and dirty picking up fish and frogs. To keep clean, they have powder-down patches on their chest that produces a fine, talc-like dust to soak up fish oils! How's that for an interesting fact?
