A visit to Florida’s Seacrest Wolf Preserve is an experience you won’t soon forget, and many even call spending a day here “life-changing!” Located in Northwest Florida and run by the non-profit Seacrest Wolf Preserve, this is one of the largest wolf sanctuaries you’ll find in the US…with plenty of space for the Gray and Arctic wolves who call this place home to roam. To visit the wolves, you can book a private tour during a weekday or can join the group tours offered on Saturdays…both of which get you up close and personal with these beautiful animals… who enjoy being rubbed and will even howl for you! The group tours also end with a Small Animal Meet and Greet where you can visit smaller animals like opossums and skunks who are also cared for onsite. The staff here is incredible and will give you a full history of the preserve itself…along with plenty of facts about the wolves and other animals who live here. This place makes for a great day in the Sunshine State, and even if you don’t pay them a visit, consider helping out at their website as they’re a self-funded nonprofit!

Best churros I have had! This was at Nomad's in Animal Kingdom. What a nice respite from the park chaos. We got in line around 11am for an 11:30am opening. We wanted to sit on the deck overlooking the water. We could not believe how quiet the spot was, literally hundreds of people just beyond the line of foliage and we heard nothing.
We opted for the bread service and churros. The churros were the best ever and the bread service was a fun offering. We were plenty full from the carbs and really enjoyed the break.
