Our Story

I love Florida and just over 11 years ago my husband and I decided to buy a vacation home there. I viewed a number of homes, had a check list of must haves which were - Must be within a 15 minute drive to Disney parks on a gated resort and a South facing pool ! Everything else I was happy to change or work with. Each house I viewed I made notes on a listed them all as Yes, No's or Maybe's, this house was the only listing I wrote Yes on as it had everything we wished for and more ! I fell in love with this house within 10 seconds of entering and knew it was the perfect house for us. Close to Disney ? Yes only a 10 to 12 minute drive away, which makes it perfect for returning back to the house for a late lunch, relax & cool off in the pool before heading back for the fireworks etc This also saves money on eating out at the parks everyday. Gated resort ? Yes 24 hour manned gated resort with excellent facilitates for the perfect resort vacation feel, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, large resort pool with kiddie areas even a Tiki bar which serves snacks and alcoholic drinks to name a few. We even have a Fitness Gym for those wishing to burn off the excess calories and keep in shape.

Location

This area of Florida has everything to offer from the excitement of Mickey and the fireworks at Disney parks to the Magic of Harry Potter at Universal Studios plus we are so close to many excellent restaurants on the 192, this really is a great place for the whole family to relax kick back and enjoy great food after a long day out at the parks. Some of our hot tips to try are Mannys Chophouse, Miller's Ale House, Longhorn Steak House, Outback Steak House we even have a fabulous winery (Island Grove wine company) just over a mile away, nice walk down the sidewalk in an evening. Every kind of fast food you can think of from McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Chick Fil A, to Panda Express is covered on the 192 which is why it is such a sort after location.

Picking up some food and supplies for the house could not be easier we have a 24 hour Walmart about a 3 to 4 minute drive away, Publix & Super Target around 7 to 8 minute drive if you want something smaller then head to Winn Dixie at Formosa Gardens only 3 minutes away, we even have a sundry shop on our resort for ease if you don't fancy driving, perfect for those items like milk for the children's cereal (sundry shop open 7 days a week 8am til 10pm daily)
