In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are implementing some additional cleaning procedures after each departure. These new measures are in accordance with current CDC/DBPR guidelines, in order to reduce the possible risk of exposure to Covid-19.
Based on what is currently known, spread from person to person of this virus happens most frequently among close contact within 6 feet and transmission occurs via respiratory droplets.
Transmission from contaminated surfaces to a person has not yet been documented and recent studies indicate that people who are infected but do not show any symptoms are far more likely to play a role in spreading the virus to others.
Moving forward, safety for everyone is the main concern when dealing with the cleaning, servicing and renting vacation homes, in what has become a totally new environment for all of us.
The use of face masks and disposable rubber gloves will be required when servicing the property upon guest departure.
Our protocol for additional cleaning and sanitizing will be as follows
A 70% alcohol solution to water on delicate surfaces.
1/3 cup of bleach to a gallon of water for bathroom surfaces.
All linens and towels must now be washed on highest heating setting, the same for items being placed in the dishwasher.
Lysol spray to be used on sofas, chairs and soft furnishings.
This list may change as more information becomes known in coming weeks and months.
