Our brilliant and talented baker has two new bagels available this season. 🎃& 🥨Caveat: you can still pre-order salt, blueberry bagels, or pumpernickel bagels you just gotta give us like a couple weeks heads up. I am as depressed as everyone else that the season is changing but if you need Office party options, mix dozens or even the giant bagel that’s available. Let us know cause we’re heading into the slower season and we’d love to keep the staff on as long as possible.

“Multiple towns along the Outer Banks will host Fourth of July fireworks displays on July 3-4, 2026.

Because individual towns set their displays off at their own locations, there are several viewing options available spanning the length of the barrier islands.

Corolla: Historic Corolla ParkTime: Fireworks begin at dusk (usually around 9:15 PM) July 3- The Independence Day celebration features live music, family activities, and food vendors. Admission is free.

Kill Devil Hills : Avalon Pier (Milepost 7)July 4-Time: 9:15 Bring beach chairs or blankets to the surrounding shores, as the pier itself is closed to viewers.

Nags Head: Nags Head Fishing Pier (Milepost 11.5)July 4-Time: 9:00 PM -You can watch the 30-minute fireworks display from town beaches. Parking is limited, so arrive early.

Manteo (Roanoke Island)Location: Manteo Waterfront and Roanoke Island Festival Park July 4-9:15 PM : These fireworks are launched over the Roanoke Sound and Shallowbag Bay. The free daytime and evening festivities begin earlier in the afternoon.

Avon (Hatteras Island)Location: Avon Fishing Pier July 4- 9:15 PM-Grab a beach towel and enjoy the show right from the beach.

It's October!🎃👻 A wonderful and spooky time of year on the Outer Banks. To celebrate the start of this month, we're throwing it back to the Elizabeth II, all dressed up for Halloween in 2024!
