KCD is excited to announce our partnership with The Dopo Sourdough Pizza for ASL training!

To give their staff an authentic immersion experience, we are looking for 10 Deaf community members to join us at our table on August 23 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Please note that all food and beverage expenses will be the responsibility of each participant.

Free vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis:
• Hepatitis B vaccine (10 doses available)
• Flu vaccine (30 doses available)
• COVID-19 vaccine (30 doses available)

An ASL translator will be provided.

In observance of Juneteenth, the Knoxville Center of the Deaf will be closed on June 19. We will resume our regular business hours on June 22.

As we honor this important day of freedom, reflection, and celebration, we encourage our community to support Knoxville Black Community and Power (KBCP)- Community- led.

Join KBCP this Saturday at the Knoxville Center of the Deaf for their Juneteenth Celebration from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will feature inspiring presenters, educational opportunities, family-friendly activities, and community engagement.

KBCP welcome everyone to come together in celebration of Black history, culture, resilience, and achievement. See you there!
