In loving memory of Marty Eaton who had a dream of starting a lodge in Zachar Bay.

Martin (Marty) Eaton passed from this life to the next April 22, 2026 at his home in Kodiak. He lived a life of adventure, sharing his knowledge and love of the wilderness with all who had the privilege of meeting him. If you have stories or memories of your time spent with Marty, we would love for you to write them in the comments.

It's almost here!! Did you know that pre-ordering helps the author to be seen by the big bookstores? I would love to have a spot in the Barnes and Nobles bookstores. Help a girl out and pre-order now!

Thanks!
