Grand County now has a Stage 1 Fire Ban. The portable fire pits located at the RV Park are still okay to use. So bring your hot dogs and s'mores fixins!! Yum!!

Just got back from hiking up Red Mountain, right behind the RV Park here! Beautiful out here today. The hike made me think of wild flowers and since it was just National Wildflower Week, I thought I would mention Colorado's State Flower is the White and Lavender Columbine, also known as the Rocky Mountain Columbine. Well thankfully it's not looking like the picture in my last post. It truly felt like spring today. There's hope!! Still snow banks around, but they are disappearing quickly with the warmer temps. Yea!

FIRE BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED.....back to stage 1 ban. We can now have fires again in the firepits in the campground. Have fun!
