To my amazing guests,
Most of whom have become friends and family:
It is with a VERY heavy heart that I share the news that I have made the difficult decision to sell our beloved Happy House.
Over the years it has been my TRUE JOY hosting each and every one of you, and I am beyond grateful for the memories we have all created.
While this decision was certainly NOT easy, it is a necessary step in my next real estate investment journey.
Your loyalty, love, and support means the world to me -and I am just as saddened by this transition as you are.
I am a Nelson and I come from a family of real estate investors; one very important thing I was taught by my father and Grandaddy is to know when it’s time to move on to something else.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for choosing to stay at The Happy House time and time again. Thank you for trusting me to give you and your family the best possible Kure Beach experience. You have ALL made The Happy House a home and not just a vacation rental. I will cherish each photo you’ve shared, each review, each guest log, each text, and everything in between!
Even though we are saying goodbye to The Happy House, I assure you that, as my family has for almost 70 years- I am NOT losing my connection to our precious Kure Beach! My connection to this town remains strong and it always will. In the next couple years I plan to invest in another property in Kure. My hope is that we can continue to build memories together! While the future may hold some changes, our bond remains unchanged. My true gratitude and love for you ALL remains unchanged!!
My family’s story in Kure Beach has been strong for almost 7 decades…I will not let it end now, I promise you that!!!
Thank you for keeping the Nelson legacy alive and for being part of our story. As one chapter closes I promise another will start soon.
