This position will be starting anywhere from 5am-7am Though 11am or 12pm during busy times with an average of 25-28 hours a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides food and beverage service to guests in the breakfast room
• Sets up breakfast at scheduled time
• Prepare/Cook food and beverages to brand standard breakfast program guidelines
• Ensure breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standards
• Maintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area and kitchen, including equipment, during and after breakfast hours
• Inventory breakfast items regularly and help unload weekly food order.
• Clears tables during the breakfast experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware in a timely manner
• Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
• Wash dishes, stock supplies and assist with weekly food order
• Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed the guests’ expectations
• Adheres to hotel and brand safety and security procedures in addition to local, county and/or city health department standards
• Aligns with the “Yes I Can” service standards to build and reinforce skills that create a lasting service culture that provides caring, comfortable and consistent experiences.
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
• Provides genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
• Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and works to resolve
• Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in a food service environment preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to stand, stoop, walk or bend for entire shift
• Ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
