The River & Ocean Film Festival is returning to Forks October 2nd! Held since 2014, the River & Ocean features film explorations of the natural and social dimensions of the coast and coastal watersheds of the Olympic Peninsula. Join us at the Rainforest Arts Center; doors open at 6:30 pm, and films start at 7:30 pm. This event is free and family-friendly.
For the first time ever, the film festival is partnering with the Pacific Salmon Coalition’s Fish N’ Brew community event. Make a weekend of it and join us again on Saturday, October 3, in Forks for Fish N Brew, a celebration of salmon, rivers, and the people working to protect them. Hosted by Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition, Fish N Brew brings together local salmon stewards, conservationists, anglers, and community members for a day of food, drink, and connection — with a special opportunity to meet the people doing salmon habitat restoration across the West End.
The River & Ocean Film Festival is brought to you by the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee in collaboration with Washington Sea Grant. Event partners include the City of Forks, NOAA Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, the Clallam County Marine Resources Committee, and Surfrider Foundation Washington Chapters.
