📝Here are some specifications you need to consider before creating your design:
- When creating the design keep in mind the patch will be 2.5*2.5 inch
- Some ideas to include in the design are canoe paddles, paddle board, lake, campfire, nature, cabins, trees, birds, animals.

As the 2024 Dillman’s season comes to a close and fall temperatures are in the air – we take this time to say THANK YOU to all of our guests and friends that joined us on the magical waters of White Sand Lake.
We have enjoyed the variety of vacationers from creative art students, families, wedding activities, quiet retreats and so many returning guests.

Embrace the natural world of the Northwoods through an array of arts in a trio of exceptional classes in Fe University’s first-ever partnership with Dillman’s Art Workshop Retreat.
Each three-hour class, 9 a.m. to noon, will take place at beautiful Dillman’s Bay Resort in Lac du Flambeau, Wis.
“Visioning: Responding to Nature through Writing”
- July 18, John Bates 📝
John will guide students in two approaches to writing about the natural world with both a sense of wonder and a scientist’s eye: creative non-fiction and poetry.
“Visioning: Responding to Nature through Photography”
- July 25, Gary Theisen 📸
Gary will focus on landscapes and close-up images of subjects in nature, with Gary Theisen emphasizing light, the camera’s ability to capture it in different circumstances, and composition.
“Visioning: Responding to Nature through Drawing and Painting” Aug. 1, Terry Daulton 🎨
Students will join in creating art on location, exploring outdoor Northwoods habitats with a sketchpad and a variety of art mediums.
Registration for each of these three classes is $20. Each class is limited to 12 students.
