How do you explain the nostalgia of a summer weekend on a lake in the northwoods? You just had to be there.

Disconnect to reconnect… and then choose to stay gone a little longer.
There’s something magical about waking up surrounded by tall trees, breathing in fresh pine air, and letting the fire pit warm your soul. Fern + Moss reminds us that sometimes the best thing we can do is give ourselves permission to pause, recharge, and carry that peace back with us.
Grateful for moments like these ✨ Where’s your favorite place to stay gone? 🪵🌲🔥

The sun is setting a little later, the lake is waking up, and that first gentle green is starting to carpet the forest floor.

The A-Frame is ready and waiting for you to come breathe it all in—morning coffee on the deck, loons calling across the water, and that magical golden hour light pouring through the trees.

Fern + Moss is open for spring escapes. Who’s ready for quiet mornings, fresh air, and the kind of peace only the Northwoods can give?
