There is nothing more encouraging or flattering to a small business then hearing from one of your first clients 5 YEARS after their purchase. We love to hear from our customers and Mr Baker and family are one of our all-time favorites.

You will see Mr. Bakers original setup often in our advertising and on our website. Today he sent his 2026 seasonal setup. Doesn’t it look just AWESOME? So comfortable and ready for making camping memories of a lifetime.

Thank you, Mr Baker! May this season be filled with beautiful friends, loving family, lots of awesome memories and the easiest of travels. ❤️

After owning RV’s for 30 + years I just had a thought about if my gas heater has an air filter. Since I know the first thing that would be said if I asked the RV community is google is your friend. I googled the answer but wanted to share so you don’t have to wait until you wonder about it. Here is what I found. Most RV furnaces do not have a filter because they are closed-combustion systems, and adding one could restrict airflow and cause the furnace to overheat. Instead of a furnace filter, RV air conditioners have filters to protect their sensitive evaporator coils. For older RVs, the intake area may have a screen that can be cleaned, but newer models might be an exception and could include a filter.
RV furnace filters
No built-in filter: The vast majority of RV furnaces do not have a filter built into the unit.
Purpose of a filter: Residential furnaces have filters to protect the AC evaporator coils from getting clogged with dust, but RV furnaces don't have these coils.
Risk of restricted airflow: Adding a filter to an RV furnace can restrict airflow, which can cause the furnace to overheat and potentially fail or be a safety hazard.
What to do instead
Clean the intake: If you have an older RV, the air intake area under a grate may collect dust. You can clean this area by vacuuming it, as it may have a screen to prevent large debris from entering.
Check your owner's manual: If you have a newer RV, it's best to check your owner's manual to see if your specific model includes a filter.
Clean your RV air conditioner: The only part of the RV system that has a filter is usually the air conditioner. This protects the AC's evaporator coils from getting clogged.
Clean the AC filter regularly: Clean your AC filter as recommended in your owner's manual to ensure it runs efficiently and effectively.
