Our best guy, Snuffleupagus, had his 8th birthday today! 🥹🥰🐾

His day was filled with seeing his favorite people (his grandma and grandpa), getting frisbee tosses, and a backyard patio picnic including a basket full of new toys! Every year we've gotten him a fun custom cake, but this year we had to pivot due to some allergies we've discovered. Instead, we made him his very own sausages that we grilled up, and we think he was just as pleased.

New favorite place to enjoy morning coffee 😍

Enjoy the view from under Sid, our huge oak tree. If you've ever used our trash/recycling center, you've encountered Sid. We know he's encroaching on the bins, but we're not the boss of him 🤷 Plus now, Sid's canopy provides the coziest nook to sit with a book, blanket, and a beverage (the trifecta).

Speaking of this season, we wanted to share an important update.

This year, our rental season is going to be cut short. Starting September 14, 2026, LRH will be temporarily closed while we begin construction on our commercial kitchen and future Supper Club space.

What does this mean for you? Simply that availability this year will be more limited than usual. If you're still thinking about a summer/fall getaway, now is the time to get your dates on the books. For the reservations we currently have booked after that time frame, we can assure you that construction will not be happening during your stay.

We plan to be open again for Memorial Day weekend 2027 and *cannot wait* to share this exciting new chapter with all of you!

Not gonna lie, it's been cold, rainy, and wet around here for what seems like too long. But, with that rain, spring came in full bloom! The trees are green again and it might even finally be time to get the summer flowers out for the season.

The rain has me thinking about the games we keep in each of our units. We have so many repeat guests nowadays that we like to keep things fresh and updated! Does anyone have board games (or the like) that they would like to see in the units for rainy days? We're always open to suggestions - drop them below!
