We've had about 10 requests for a posting of hours ... FaceBook finally allowed me to set them (I was getting a weird error previously). If you need a late check-in after the posted office hours please call to arrange it, it's not a problem, someone is here 24 hrs. a day ... just not awake 24 hrs. a day.

The rain has been somewhat constant today, not super heavy; we're forecast for at least another 3 days ... we can neither confirm nor deny that there is a small chance of snow possible on Thurs (not super likely though ...)

Issued: 1:30 PM PDT Mar. 29, 2016 – National Weather Service
.. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3 am PDT
Wednesday...

* snow levels... fluctuating between 4500 and 5000 feet... but
occasionally as low as 4000 feet.

* Timing... snow showers increasing during the afternoon into
this evening... then decreasing late tonight.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches above 5500 feet with local
amounts exceeding 6 inches above 7000 feet

* winds... areas of southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45
mph late afternoon into this evening.

* Visibility... reduced at times in snow and blowing snow.

* Impacts... residents and travelers into higher elevations in
the mountains should be prepared for hazardous driving
conditions due to slick roads. If possible... carry chains and
take extra food and clothing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities... and use caution while driving.

Red Twig Dogwood is more of a shrub than a tree, though all dogwoods sem amenable to multi-trunking, they make a nice understory in this area (Understory ... lower smaller trees below the evergreen upperstory/canopy)
