Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park is known among cave divers worldwide for its approximately 33,000 feet of surveyed underwater passages. Even if diving isn't your thing, the park is a beautiful, quiet spot for a walk through the woods and a look at the spring itself. It's named for Wes Skiles, a renowned Florida cave diver and conservationist, and it's a great reminder of just how unique North Florida's spring systems are.
