Joe and Elizabeth joined several industry partners in Washington DC this week to represent Minnesota and Alaska in advocating for the motorcoach industry alongside the United Motorcoach Association (UMA). Topics centered around the importance of small businesses and several other regulations currently impacting the safety of the industry.

A special shout out to Congressman Finstad and UMA for discussing the importance of small business and the American dream. John Hall’s Alaska was honored to have Joe speak on behalf of the White House Conference on Small Business Act.

Small business is true to John Hall’s Alaska roots, having operated 60+ years in business over several generations.

A big thank you to Senator Stauber and Congressman Finstad for taking the time to meet with Minnesota operators. Alongside Minnesota, great conversations were had with Congressman Begich and Senator Sullivan regarding the impacts of successful motorcoach operations throughout Alaska.

John Sr. touched the lives of generations of family members, employees, partners and guests through his deep love for Alaska, motorcoaches, and his belief in meaningful and responsible travel. His unwavering commitment to integrity and care shaped the company from the very beginning.

John Hall’s Alaska stands today as a reflection of the values and vision he established. Built as a multi-generational family legacy, the company will continue as a family-owned-and-operated business under the continued leadership of his children, who remain committed to carrying that foundation forward with the same dedication and heart.

His memory will live on in the experiences we create, the relationships we cherish and the enduring love for intentional travel that continues to guide us.
