252 acre city park with events facility, sleeping cabins, screened shelters, unique tent camping, interpretive center, beach on Lake Pepin (widening of the Mississippi River at Lake City, MN). The park offers spectacular views of the Mississippi River, Lake Pepin, and the surrounding bluffs. Enjoy the park by experiencing tent camping at its best, launch a boat at the public boat ramp, or swim and
relax at the sandy beach. Take time to explore the mile long stretch of Mississippi River shoreline, check out the interpretive center, take the kids to the playground, play volleyball or basketball, enjoy a picnic or relax at the chapel. Park buildings, including the dining hall and screened shelters, as well as camping sites, are open mid-April through mid-October. The park is open year around for an outing with your family, hiking, bird watching or a stroll on the beach. Schools, 4-H clubs, family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, company picnics, service organizations, church groups, and outdoor organizations find the park has the green space and amenities they desire.
