A member of a “parliament” paid Hoksila Park a visit this week. 🦉

We’ve been hearing barred owls calling through the trees the last few evenings, and one decided to stop by a picnic table for a brief inspection.

If you’ve camped here before, you know some of the park’s best moments happen after sunset. Listen closely the next time you’re here… you never know who might be attending the evening meeting.

We turned the water on and I'm so excited I wrote a freestyle, music video poem about it (you're welcome)! 😎
Bring on the 2026 season!

📣📣WATER IS ON!!📣📣
Whoop whoop! The water is ON and the park is officially fully out of hibernation! I'm so excited that I wrote a freestyle, video poem (you're welcome).

The park has had some upgrades since last fall! We deleted our park septic tank system and hooked up to the city sewer system. We are still running on our amazing well for water here and all the water lines in the park have been replaced! Most of the spigots have been moved, so that will take a little getting use to. All the spigots down cabin road have had a further upgrade to be all year round water "hydrants" (I'll post more about this soon). This is exciting news for our guests that like to visit us during the winter season! Another perk completed is all cabins now have cement sidewalks. 😍 The office just had a new steel roof installed and our beloved chapel was reshingled with nostalgic cedar shakes. And it doesn't stop there! The picnic shelters have all new upgraded electric service and we added stainless steel counters (picture post for this coming soon too!) for your convenience. 🤩

We strive to keep things clean, maintained, up to date and add new features when we can! Bring on the 2026 season!

Feeling so excited for our Glow Walk tomorrow! There's just enough snow cover to help make it feel like winter still but hopefully the temperature will not be too cold for people to come out! We will have a warming house open for you to visit after the walk or maybe you just want to come hang out by the fire! 🤩 We will have some yummy refreshments provided by Fresh Market so please come and enjoy! Not enough snow for the ELP to provide snow shoes/skis but let's put good vibes out there for next year! Can't wait to see how you glow!! 😎

Please remember nonperishable food items for our local food shelf and any monetary donations will go to the 2 local families affected by a catastrophic house fire just under a week ago! Please consider helping if you can!! ❤️‍🩹
