Elks Lodge 893 We are a place where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Who are the Elks? Elks are community. Elks Care, Elks Share.

No matter where you go in the country, an Elks Lodge is right around the corner. With more than 850,000 members and 2,000 Lodges nationwide, Elks are providing charitable services that help build stronger communities. Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Are YOU an Elk?

At the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Elks National Convention, Elijah Borjon, a 2026 Top 20 Most Valuable Student scholar sponsored by Petaluma, Calif., Lodge No. 901, gave a moving speech that detailed how his $30,000 scholarship has changed his life.

“So when I say I am grateful for this scholarship, I mean something much deeper than ‘college is expensive,’ although it absolutely is,” said Elijah. “I mean that the Elks have given me the freedom to choose. To study. To think. To explore. To become. To say yes to opportunities without every decision being dictated by fear or money or survival.”
