Larry, Dick Rasmussen, and Dick got a good start moving campers back down to the campground yesterday in the cold and wind. Ya gotta give these old guys credit!! I sat in the pickup with the heater running. Is spring never coming? Garage sale days forecast next weekend sounds better, 65 deg and some sun. Hope to see you all.

Rain, rain, rain. Dick is working on post-flood campground repairs between showers, cold northwest wind causing whitecaps to pound our shoreline today. He turned on water to campground, lower cabins and Vista Monday, more work needs to be done before moving trailers back to campground. Because of all the rain, river will come back up 6 in. or so in the next few days, is on the 4th step in the harbor now.

The flood waters continue to slowly abate, and Dick keeps cleaning up the flood mess as it goes. He had to move the big barge in toward shore during the high water and secure with more huge cables to trees The kids came up to help with that incredibly heavy work. Now as the water descends he has to slowly move it back out so it does not hang up in shallow water and impossible to move.

With the flood waters receding, the massive clean-up begins. Dick is busy this afternoon, with the NW wind still blowing 30mph across the lake, 40 deg., starting to clean up the mountain of driftwood and flood junk that was deposited at the Camp. Docks will need lots of repair, but are still all in the harbor, wind moved the big barge. Inside bait house is a mess, campground needs repair.
