Lace curtains were all the fad in the Victorian era. I added lace curtains throughout for aesthetics and guest comfort, you can see out but seeing in is more complicated.

Top photo was the most untouched room in the Bonnie Rose. The original 1904 wallpaper was replaced with sheet rock and electric. I preserved some of the original wallpaper and it framed it for room art and prosperity.

Before and after. The original room I considered the short straw room, it is now the long straw room.

One of my favorite things to do is decorate, right down to the switch plates. I recently replaced plastic switch plates with mirrored tinted green glass. Fun!

Fun is our biggest goal, fun is what we want our guests to experience.

Look how amazing the flowering tree looks outside the window. A pity it only blooms so briefly. Our next guest check in is going to love this. Beautiful and unique.
