Best deli in LG!!

Today was one of the busiest days in the history of Ray's Helova Deli, and before I call it a night, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To our customers: thank you for your patience, understanding, and support throughout an incredibly busy Fourth of July. We know there were times when the wait was longer than anyone would have liked, and we truly appreciate everyone who stuck with us. The kindness, encouragement, and understanding so many of you showed our team throughout the day did not go unnoticed.

To our staff: I couldn't be more proud of this crew. From the early morning breakfast rush through the evening, everyone stepped up, stayed focused, helped one another, and gave everything they had. Days like today aren't easy, but this team showed exactly what hard work, dedication, and teamwork look like. Today demanded everything you had, and you delivered.

We're incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing community and thankful for every customer who chose to spend part of their holiday with us. Days like today remind us just how fortunate we are to serve the Lake George area and the visitors who make this place so special.

From all of us at Ray's Helova Deli, thank you. We hope everyone had a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July.

I dont usually double post, but I figured I would share this shot of a crane working on, what I am assuming is, the roof of the new bandstand at Shepard Park.

I took this photo this morning and it looks like it's coming along and could indeed be wrapped up by the end of this spring!

Looking forward to seeing the finished amphitheater and seeing the first concert playing on this stage!

If you heard some loud sounds out on the lake this morning, dont worry you are not going crazy because you did!!
lol

The Mohican took her first voyage out on the lake this year for her annual shake-down cruise!

Now why do we take these shake-down cruises?
We do it a few weeks out from sailing because after a long winter of sitting around we want to not only shake the dust off the engines (make sure that the pipes are cleared out and working properly), but also to make sure that all the engineering and navigational components are working.
This way if something isnt working properly we have time to fix it before the ship's season starts.
We dont want to take our first cruise with passengers and have something go wrong!

The Mohican looks to be in good shape for her first public cruise in a week and a half!
