HAPPY TRAILS WEEKEND: FAREWELL FIRE & FINAL BINGO!

Join us Saturday, October 17, as we gather around the fire one last time for our final weekend of activities at King Phillips this season!

We'll meet at the campground fire pit at 4 PM for one last chance to spend time with your fellow campers and neighbors before the activity season comes to a close. We'll have s'mores supplies available, and you're welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks too! All ages are welcome at the fire, so come enjoy one more evening together before we wrap things up for the season.

Afterward, we'll head right over to the Pavilion for our final Bingo of the season at 5:30 PM! That's much earlier than our usual start time, so please plan accordingly. Card and dauber sales will begin at 5 PM, and as always, Bingo is for adults only.

With low temperatures in the forecast, be sure to bundle up if you're joining us! Both the campfire and Bingo are weather permitting, so keep an eye out for updates if conditions don't cooperate.

The campground will remain open beyond this weekend, but these will be our final scheduled activities for the season. We hope you'll join us for one last get-together before we say happy trails until next time!

LOOK WHAT YOU COULD WIN THIS OKTOBERFEST WEEKEND!

We've got some fun prizes up for grabs at King Phillips today!

The winner of our Food Challenge will take home this gorgeous cookbook, German Home Kitchen, filled with traditional recipes and inspiration for bringing a little German home cooking into your own kitchen. Think you can match some classic dishes to their names? Stop by the Camp Office and give it a try!

We're also introducing our first-ever Poker Run, and the winning team will take home a prize basket filled with German themed snacks, freezable b**r cups, and two FREE Bingo cards!

By popular demand, we're bringing a Poker Run to King Phillips for the first time!

Grab a team of 2โ€“4 people and meet us at the Camp Office at 4 PM on Saturday, October 10. We'll make our way through five stops around the campground, with a different Oktoberfest challenge waiting at each one. Complete the challenge at each stop to earn a playing card, then collect all five cards and see what kind of poker hand you've built!

Never played poker? No problem! You don't need any poker experience for this one. It's a game of chance, so gather your team, enjoy the walk around the campground, and see where the cards land you. The team with the best hand will win a prize!

The Poker Run is entirely on foot, and we'll travel from stop to stop together before finishing up at the Pavilion.

Our Oktoberfest Weekend is coming up, and with many of our campers staying for the long holiday weekend, we have activities planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

Starting Friday at 2 PM, stop by the Camp Office for a little German Food Challenge. We'll have some classic German dishes pictured and you'll have to see how many you can correctly match to their names. Think your German food knowledge is pretty good? Come give it a try for a chance to win a prize!

By popular demand, we're bringing a Poker Run to King Phillips for the first time! Round up a team of 2-4 people and meet at the Camp Office at 4 PM. Weโ€™ll make our way through five stops around the campground, with a different Oktoberfest challenge at each one. Complete the challenge at each stop to collect a playing card and build your five-card hand.

Never played poker? No problem! This is a game of chance, so no poker experience is required. Weโ€™ll complete the run on foot and at the end, the team with the best hand will win a prize!

Then it's Bingo at 7 PM at the Pavilion. We only have two weekends of activities left this season, so this will be one of our final Bingo games! It's supposed to get chilly again by evening, so we'll have some hot drinks available to help warm everyone up.

Sunday morning we'll have a Sunday Brunch Potluck at 10 AM at the Pavilion. Bring a favorite breakfast or brunch dish to share, and we'll provide the coffee and juice! Signing up is encouraged, but not required.

Our Retro Candy Challenge has come to an end, and we have our winners!

We took a little trip through candy history with six classics spanning from the 1920s to the 1970s. Some of these were definitely easier to place than others!

Now & Laters were introduced in 1962, and we had a couple of correct guesses for the 1960s. After a blind drawing, the winner was T-15!

T-15 also won the Jujyfruits. They were first introduced in the 1920s, but since no one guessed that decade, we gave it to the next closest decade, the 1930s.

Goobers were introduced in 1925, making them one of the oldest candies in our challenge, and A-16 nailed the 1920s.

Chick-O-Stick came along in the 1930s, with 1932 being the year, and I-12 guessed the decade correctly.

Mallo Cups also made their debut in the 1930s, and M-01 got it right.

And bringing up the rear in our candy timeline, Tootsie Roll Fruit Chews came around in the 1970s, which A-5 correctly guessed.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and gave it a shot. We loved adding a little candy history to our Decades Weekend, and hopefully we introduced a few of you to a candy you hadn't tried before!

What a beautiful fall day for our Fall Harvest Festival! ๐Ÿ‚

We had a great time filling the Pavilion with crafts, Paint-n-Sip, shopping, good food and plenty of time to catch up with friends and neighbors.

A big thank you to Sunshine Sips Co. for being a wonderful late addition to our Market and keeping everyone refreshed with some delicious drinks! We're so glad you could be part of the day.

And thank you to all of our campers who participated in the Makers Market & Tag Sale and brought something to share for our Soup Potluck. We had so many good soups to choose from, along with crackers and other treats to enjoy. And Bingo night was a little sweeter thanks to a homemade apple crisp shared with everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, shopped, crafted, ate, painted and spent the day with us. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the start of fall at King Phillips! ๐Ÿ

It's time to take a little trip down memory lane! Decades Weekend is coming up October 2โ€“3!

Friday afternoon, stop by the Camp Office for our Retro Candy Challenge and see how well you remember some of the treats from decades past.

Saturday at 3 PM, Retro Rewind is hosting Trivia, with music, movies, pop culture and more from across the decades. It'll be family-friendly, with prizes and plenty of throwback fun!

Then we'll keep the nostalgia going with Decades Bingo at 7 PM. If you've been camping with us for years and still have some old King Phillips merch tucked away, this is the weekend to dig it out! We may even have a few little prizes for some of the best throwbacks.
