Sometimes the path forward leads you back to where you started.

Nabil is a Colorado native, born and raised here before life eventually took him to New York City, where he spent eight years building a successful career in finance.

But Colorado never really stopped calling.

Behind the suit + tie, he was already sketching tents, dreaming up something different, and asking what it might look like to build something more aligned with who he was. He wanted to create something that could bring people together and leave a legacy.

Eventually, that idea brought him home.

The best way to tell the Black Tree story? Through the people who’ve stayed here.

The slow mornings. The meals they’re still thinking about. Kids discovering a little more freedom. Time outside. Time together. And sometimes, simply remembering how good it feels to have nowhere else to be.

Summer isn’t measured by weekends. It’s measured in moments.

Mornings that start with coffee outside the tent. Kids running wild. Fish caught (and stories about the ones that got away). Afternoons on the water. Dinner delivered to your doorstep. S’mores around the fire. Staying up way past bedtime because the stars are just too good.

That’s summer at Black Tree.

And lucky for us, there’s still a little more of it left.
