A GUEST LEFT SOMETHING at 🌲The Catch🎣…and we’re definitely keeping it. 👀

Don’t worry — he told me I could. 😂

📚Recent guest (and author!) Jason Blanchard gifted us a signed copy of his book, I Am Whale Man.

How cool is that?! Jason, thank you for such a thoughtful gift and the incredibly kind words. 🤍

Your book is getting a permanent home in our home’s guest library for future guests to enjoy. 😊

The first hints of fall are here! 🍂

A little color is starting to pop up across the Pocono Mountains, with reds, yellows and oranges beginning to show in spots. But don’t worry—the big show is still ahead! 👀

🌲 Northern Poconos: ~5% color | Peak expected Oct. 8–14
🍂 Central Poconos: ~1% color | Peak expected Oct. 8–14
🍁 Southern Poconos: ~5% color | Peak expected Oct. 20–28

Cool, dry weather could set the stage for an absolutely gorgeous fall foliage season. Consider this your sign to start planning those scenic drives, hikes and small-town fall adventures! 🍂🚗🥾

How lucky were we?! 🎣 bluegill, smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, and yellow perch—all in the same afternoon.

What a way to end a terrific season at Boulder Lake Club!

Huge thanks to our friends at Boulder Lake Club for a summer of fun and memories for the BFM family and our guests…until next season! 💛

☀️This morning, as I woke up in Lake Harmony and watched the fog slowly lift from Round Pond at sunrise, the quiet stillness of the morning felt like an invitation to reflect.

💭As another summer season comes to a close, we’re feeling especially grateful. 😊

At BFM Properties, we love our guests. ❤️ We love hosting. ❤️ And more than anything, we love creating places where people can slow down, reconnect, make memories, and find a little joy together. ❤️

🤞This Labor Day, may we all take a moment to appreciate the hard work of the year behind us—but also the moments that made all of that work worthwhile. The mornings by the water. 💧 The laughter around the fire. 🔥 The family traditions. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒The quiet weekends away. 😌 The memories we get to keep. 🧺

…And sometimes, our guests leave a little piece of those memories behind for us. 🖼️

🥰Thank you, Katie, for capturing these beautiful moments at 🌲The Lure🐟 and Round Pond, and for the words you wrote on the back:

“Our favorite place.”

We can’t think of a greater compliment.

It’s our favorite place, too. ❤️

Happy Labor Day from our family at 🌲BFM Properties.💎

They may not remember every vacation…

But he’ll remember afternoon fishing with his Pap. 🎣❤️

A canoe on the water. A quiet afternoon together. The excitement of a bite. The stories that get told along the way.

At The Creel, having your own private waterfront on peaceful Round Pond means some of the best parts of your stay happen without ever leaving home.

And years from now, when the kids are bigger and the vacations start to blur together, these are the little moments we hope they still remember.

Book the trip.
