How close is Salty Pines to the Lake? Can you walk there?
Questions you may be wondering! It depends on which lake you are inquiring about. There are 2 private lakes within the Riverbend community. They are both quiet and peaceful and do not allow motor boats.
Little Mirror Lake is about .4 miles, Big Mirror Lake Beach is .6 miles.
While you CAN walk there on the gravel roads, you are in the mountains and the roads are full of switch backs (twists and turns) so I drive the 3-ish minutes to the beach.
See pic of Big Mirror Lake.
Lake Lure is not walkable. It is a 17 minute drive from our door to the beach depending on traffic and road conditions.
