The North Shore Beach Cabana now has extended hours over the weekends. Every Friday-Sunday, the Cabana will be open from 9am-8pm. Hours of operation are 10am–6pm Monday-Thursday.

Sometimes we have family and friends that do not go through homeaway or vrbo and they want to leave feedback about our rentals. Here's one that just came to us a few weeks ago:

"Nina, thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your mountain home I call the "treehouse" because you feel like you're in one. So peaceful and tranquil.

The million dollar view of the mountains is worth the trip in itself. As your guests at Rumbling Bald, we found you can enjoy lake cruises, a private pool and beach, mini golf and great dining. The house felt like home. I could actually live there. So comfortable any and everything you could possibly need.

All one needs to bring is yourself, personal items and groceries. For future renters, be careful....you won't want to leave. Love the place. Thanks again."

Our last guests wanted to make sure that I saw this picture of a bear spotting on their visit to Stardust at Lake Lure. Now this was not taken at Stardust but just down the mountain near the entrance to Rumbling Bald Resort.

Our motto is always: "Relax, and make Memories." Hope everyone experiences this on your vacation no matter where you go.

She wanted to share her words since she didn't come through our vacation rental.

"Thank you, Nina, for a wonderful week in your beautiful mountain home. The view was fantastic with the beautiful mountains, sunrises and sunsets. The family gathered on the porch each morning and evening to plan and review the day.

The many activities at the resort and surrounding areas will be well remember by all. Lots of keepsake moments! We hope to be able to return next year.

Just a recap on 2018 and our Stardust Rental @ Lake Lure. It's been exciting that we had a full summer full of guests and they all seemed happy with the accommodations, the view and Rumbling Bald Resort. Hope that you'll think about us next year if you want a relaxing adventure at Lake Lure. We thank you for helping make this year a success! And, from our family to yours we wish you a beautiful Christmas season! The Nash Family!
