Watching the morning unfold on Lake Norman. Betty and Veronica, our ruby throated hummingbirds, make quick and meaningful visits to the feeder. Osprey and great blue heron glide over the surface of the lake in search of breakfast. A symphony of what must be at least 50 other bird species put on a concert for my ears. And a beautiful orange, purple and pink sunrise reflects off the water. It’s magic. ☀️

We have been busy! Among several other summer projects we did this summer, we just had all of our outdoor cushions redone by Jersey Bell Sews in this fun striped pattern and a bright green. She did a fantastic job!
