WARNING!! A DELICIOUS BUDDY'S SUNDAY ROAST AHEAD!

Chef Zach has been busy working his magic in the Buddy's Lounge kitchen, and this week's Sunday Roast is looking like something pretty special!

On the menu: Italian-Style Roast Pork Loin Roulade!

A beautiful loin of pork, butterflied and generously layered with fragrant basil (from our garden) pesto, savory pancetta, and sharp Parmesan cheese. Then carefully rolled, tied, and slow-roasted to golden perfection in Buddy's very own wood-fired oven.

And yes, that's the actual roast cooking in the picture! No AI enhancement, no fancy tricks. Just real food, real fire, and a chef who knows what he's doing!

Of course, we're serving it with all the proper Sunday Roast trimmings, because what's a Sunday Roast without all the good stuff?

And if a traditional Sunday Roast isn't quite what you're craving, we've got our other delicious Lounge Specials and, of course, Buddy's famous artisan wood-fired pizzas too!

This Thursday we’re heading BACK TO THE ’90s for Buddy’s Pub Quiz.

This week it’s all about Movies, Actors & Showbiz from the decade that gave us Jurassic Park, Titanic, Pulp Fiction, Pretty Woman, The Matrix, Friends, ER and a seemingly endless supply of celebrity gossip.

Expect the big movies, famous faces, who-played-who, TV, Hollywood, scandals, showbiz news and, of course, a ’90s soundtrack round.

Some will be easy. Some will require your team to dig surprisingly deep into the useless information you’ve been carrying around since 1990s.

NEW FOR THE FALL QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIP

Missed last week? Just joining us? No problem.

Your final Championship score will be based on your team’s BEST FOUR QUIZ NIGHT SCORES between the start of the points season and our Grand Final on November 19.

So there’s still plenty of time for new teams to get involved — and if your team has a shocker one week, you get to throw it away or two.

Four best nights. Highest total wins.

And we’ll reveal the first Buddy’s Fall Pub Quiz Leaderboard at the beginning of Thursday night’s quiz.

Thursday October 15. Questions start at 6pm. Maximum 4 players per team

Get to Buddy’s Lounge early, grab a drink, order a pizza and get your team together.

Well folks, it really is the last day of the season at Buddy’s Silo Bar & Drinking Shed.

We’ve stretched the season as far as we can, but today’s the day. Come down, have a drink and help us see the Silo off until next year.

A big thank you to everyone who’s spent time with us down there this season. It’s been a lot of fun.

BUT… we’re not shutting up shop for winter!

Buddy’s Lounge is staying open Thursdays - Sundays and today it’s Sunday Roast from 2pm.

A proper slap-up roast with all the trimmings, a few drinks at the bar and no washing up afterwards.

Silo Bar & Drinking Shed — open today from Noon
Sunday Roast at Buddy’s Lounge — from 2pm

See you at Buddy’s.

A bit of a first for Buddy’s Lounge today…

From 2pm today, we’re doing our first ever full table service.

Yes, we’ve got more seating.
Yes, we’ve got real plates.
Yes, we’ve even got silverware and proper napkins.

And, more importantly, we’ve expanded the Specials Menu with a few dishes from the new menu we’ve been working on, including a couple of yummy desserts.

The new kitchen isn’t even finished yet… but we decided we couldn’t wait any longer. So we’re off and running.

We also have Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, plus the Chiefs game and the 49ers game on in the Lounge this afternoon.

So if your idea of a decent Sunday involves good food, football and a few hours at Buddy’s, we’ll see you from 2pm.
