The Florida Forest Service - Withlacoochee Forestry Center will not issue any outdoor burn authorizations FOR PILES LARGER THAN 8x8 in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Sumter, and Lake counties TODAY, SUNDAY NOVEEMBER 16, 2025, due to weather predictions calling for unfavorable outdoor burning conditions. EXTREMELY DRY conditions, wind gusting to 20, which can contribute to erratic fire behavior and a rapid rate of spread.
