Meet the Campground’s Prehistoric Residents!

Both are reptiles with ancient lineages dating back more than 200 million years — meaning their relatives were around long before humans ever walked the Earth! 🦖 Oh yeah, we have some seriously fascinating wildlife. 🌴☀️

Pretty amazing to think we’re sharing our campground with a little piece of that ancient history. 💚

Please admire our wild neighbors from a safe distance and let them do their thing! 🐊🐢

🌴✨ A Little Slice of Florida Paradise ✨🌴

One of the things that makes our resort so special is the incredible nature that surrounds us. From majestic oak trees draped in Spanish moss to our peaceful pond filled with turtles, frogs, and even a few alligators 🐊🌿 To — lizards basking in the sun, dragonflies dancing over the water, colorful birds and cranes stopping by. These tiny creatures that remind us to slow down and appreciate the little moments. 🦎🐢🦋

There’s something truly peaceful about waking up surrounded by nature. The quiet vibe here makes our resort feel like a true Florida escape. 🌺☀️

And don’t forget about all the amazing eco-adventures waiting just beyond our resort! 🐬🌿

Take a short trip to experience the incredible manatee encounters in Crystal River — one of the most unique places in the world to get an up-close look at these gentle giants in their natural habitat. 🩵 Or paddle through one of our beautiful local Springs where you may find them.

Right across the street, you’ll also find a wonderful local farm filled with horses, goats, and other animals to enjoy. 🐴🐐

From our own backyard to nearby adventures, there is so much nature, beauty, and peaceful energy to explore here. 🌴✨ This is truly a special place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy all the amazing creatures and scenery Florida has to offer. 🐢🦋🪿

We highly recommend Shipshape. This is our primary recommended mobile RV service provider, who has earned our trust by providing reliable, quality service to our guests. If you need repairs, A/C work, upgrades, or other RV services. This is our first recommendation.

If you have a fairly modern RV (2015, give or take a little), it just might be easier and cheaper than you think to convert it to 50 amp and to add a second air conditioner! Give me a call if the heat is making your RV unbearable.

☀️ A little paint, a few upgrades, and one very important question... Which way is North? 🧭🌴

Another productive day here at Thousand Palms RV Resort! Our incredible maintenance team has been hard at work making improvements all around the resort.

🎨 Fresh paint is giving our water shed fence a beautiful new look.

🏖️ The pool area got even more inviting with our new fence, alligator, umbrellas—perfect for relaxing in the Florida sunshine.

🗺️ We also installed our brand-new Florida Fun Destinations sign to help inspire your next adventure! From Disney World, to Crystal River, The Villages, and beyond, there are so many amazing places just a drive away.

😂 And yes... before the sign went up, there may have been a friendly debate about which direction was actually north, south, east, and west. Thankfully, teamwork (and a little laughter) won the day!

🔧 Behind the scenes, our crew also spent time repairing campground utility meters to help keep everything running smoothly for our guests.

A huge thank you to our maintenance team for everything they do to keep Thousand Palms looking its best. Every project—big or small—is another step toward making our resort an even better place to call home.

🔨 Staff Appreciation Spotlight: Meet Jay! 🌴

While many of us are enjoying the relaxing atmosphere here at Thousand Palms, there's an incredible team working behind the scenes to keep our campground beautiful and running smoothly.

Today we're shining the spotlight on Jay, who has been part of the Thousand Palms family for 8 years! Here he is repairing the fence around our pickleball court—just one of the many projects he tackles to help keep our park in tip-top shape.

From building and repairing to mowing and maintaining, Jay and our hardworking maintenance team are always busy making sure our guests have a campground they can proudly call their home away from home.

🎾 Fun fact: If you've ever challenged Jay on the pickleball court... you already know he's a bit of a pickleball shark! 😄 And for years, he proudly held the title of Campground Co****le Champion—so if you're feeling lucky, you might want to bring your A-game!

The beauty of Thousand Palms doesn't happen by accident. It's because of hardworking people like Jay and the rest of our amazing staff who show up every day with pride, dedication, and a commitment to making this campground the special place we all enjoy.
