Hey there, We hope everyone is doing ok so far, we are all doing pretty good just hangin here together but distancing of course. We have some folks here that are fairly new to the park and was working in town, they have fallen victim to the layoffs locally and are looking for something to do and to help them as well. I suggested to them that perhaps some of the folks who are not able to wash their RV's could use some help with this. Hand washed NOT a power washer. If you are interested please call the office and we will put you in touch with them. Thanks for your help in spreading the word...…..Linda

NOTICE: As of this week (April 1, 2020), the club house is closed in the interest of avoiding close contact. The library is open, but please remember to stay a safe distance apart and please, no groups... We can get through this together, if we stay apart!

FYI Pet Owners.
Highlands County Humane Society offers Low Cost shots, microchip and Spay/Neuter. I just took Peanut and got a Microchip for $30.00. 3 year Rabies $20.00. Bordetella $30.00. DAPPV $20.00. My vet wanted $200.00 even with a special package priced as a customer. I was in and out in 20 minutes and the workers were great! Every Tuesday 10-3, and no appointment. Walk in.

Hey, Everyone!
Let's hear ideas for a Name for the Dog Park/Run. "Paws and Relax"? Keep the ideas coming! I'll install simple water and p**p bag disposal. When everyone gets here maybe build ramps, etc. for play. The location is shady, and next to bathrooms, laundry and the dog wash station.

There is no way around it--this is a sad time. For once, I am at a loss for words. Our Snowbirds are leaving! Yes, things will slow down some as we are left with our year round people. The fact is, though, I got to meet and become friends with some of the nicest people ever! I tried to come up with something clever to say, but - well, it just isn't there. You are leaving a big feeling of emptiness in me, that I can try to ease by knowing that you will be coming back. That is something really nice to look forward to!

We are saddened by those who have passed away; some have been here for a very long time. We will miss those who have left, or soon will, for different reasons. We do what we have to do. We understand and we wish you the best of life wherever you go.

Be careful driving home. Keep in touch-phone, Facebook, text, whatever. Let us know how you're doing.

But, you know what? The bright spot is that there are so many year round people to keep this place going. They welcomed me and nursed me along with encouragement during my learning process, and through hard times, along with you. Everyone here has enriched my life more than I can express. This is Home for me and Peanut! God willing, we will be here to usher in a new year with you!!
