Our little Sydney loved Lake Placid. We have such wonderful memories of the time we got to spend with her and her brothers and sister there last summer. We are so excited that her memory will be honored in such a special way.

On February 20, 2018 a spunky three year old girl died unexpectedly from complications of Wilms Disease, a rare form of pediatric kidney cancer that often strikes without any symptoms. On the evening of May 21, the day that would have been her fourth birthday, the Philadelphia skyline will light up....

It's that time of year. It seems everybody is thinking about their summer holiday. We are very excited to have confirmed several families that are coming back to join us for a 2nd year, including one family who has been coming to Snowshoe Cottage long before we acquired it.

We are wrapping up the 2017 rental season and had some wonderful guests this year. We appreciate all that stayed and took such good care of our little cottage.

We are so excited that today, we received our 10th Five Star rating on VRBO/HomeAway. We could not have done it without our friends and neighbors in Lake Placid, but especially Tracy Colby who worked so hard to keep everything neat and clean, including the flower boxes. Thank you!!!
