We recently hosted Dr. Tania Elliott at the MLI for a weekend retreat. Dr. Tania, a board-certified allergist and internal medicine specialist, enjoyed our great outdoors.

She talks about health and wellness on a daily basis. Check out her Substack column in the comments below.

A bit of snow in Lake Placid ADK this weekend, but a bit more atop the Whiteface Mt Veterans Memorial Highway. Just a reminder that the ski and ride season is only a month away.

Today is ! At the AAA Four Diamond The View Restaurant at Mirror Lake Inn, we create house made pastas such as this popular Wild Boar Pappardelle. It features wild boar, pork sausage, stock, onion, sage, vermouth, cream, black truffle, house made pappardelle, pecorino, and olive oil.

This gets us thinking about our upcoming Adirondack Culinary Weekend, held in conjunction with Carriage House Cooking School,
Oct 30-Nov 1. Executive Chef Curtiss Hemm will feature the Italian delicacies of the Emilia-Romagna region, complete with demonstration style cooking classes and samplings. And of course, it's all wrapped around a luxe weekend stay here at the MLI.

Details can be found on the MLI website's Package page.

The MLI prides itself on an unparalleled level of service across the property, including our Group Sales Department. We have dedicated staff that flawlessly coordinates meetings and retreats year-round.

Meeting planners should know that we have recently enhanced that group service by reimagining the Algonquin Room on the second floor of the Terrace Building. Make use not only of this asset, but also our Board Room, Conference Center, and the Wikoff Room for group dining.

Make the MLI and Lake Placid the site of your next meeting. Contact Stephanie Lange ([email protected], 518-302-3030) and start planning your next company event. You can also discuss use of the Olympic venues to enhance the team building.
