Well, it's that time of year again😢 and time to prep units for winter and prevent mice from using it as their winter home. Make sure all outside entry points, (don't forget to check underneath your sinks) are sealed using either spray foam or steel wool and remove all food products. Among a combination of. products people use on the inside are traps -- standard and sticky, bars of Irish Spring near doors, peppermint oil, Bounce sheets and Cab Fresh packets. Outside -- options include spraying rodent repellent -- a number of products are available -- or Pine Sol around the perimeter of your unit and on tires. You may also place mothballs on the top and around each tire. Another suggestion includes the basic homemade trap -- although they may drop onto frozen ice instead of water when the temps drop. It's also a good idea to clear items from underneath your camper and remember to pull up your steps so they don't have a ladder to gain entry. If you have any additional ideas, please feel free to share.
