Agate Lake Resort Welcome to Agate Lake Resort in Nisswa, MN in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. There is much to do in the wintertime too.

Located just west of Gull Lake on crystal-clear and sandy Agate Lake and only minutes from the best golfing, restaurants, and shopping in the Lakes Area. Catch some rays in the summertime and watch your children play on the safe, expansive, walkout beach while grilling at your lakeside cabin just steps from the lake. Enjoy complimentary amenities including paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, water bikes, bonfires, beachfront movies, kids crafts, and much more (anglers will love the Bass and Northern Pike fishing too). Located right off the Pillsbury State Forest snowmobile trails and a quick snowmobile ride away from Gull Lake’s public access and Hole-in-the-Day Bay, Agate Lake Resort makes a great home base for your weekend of fun in the snow! Family owned and operated since 1948, Agate Lake Resort offers a peaceful respite to rest, reconnect, restore and recharge in any season.

Sometimes you just need a few days at the lake. 🍂

Coffee with a view, a loon calling across the water, and nowhere you need to rush off to. Watching the sunset, then staying around the campfire a little longer.

That’s our kind of escape at Agate Lake Resort. What’s yours? 👇
