🌲 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO ERIC & JEN DAVIDSON! 🌲

As Eric and Jen Davidson step down from their Caretaker positions at Lake Connor Park, we want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for their many years of dedication, hard work, and countless hours of volunteering.

Eric and Jen have given so much of their time and energy to caring for our beautiful Park. From maintaining our trails for members to enjoy to helping wherever they were needed, their commitment to Lake Connor Park and its membership has truly made a difference.

As they begin this new chapter in their lives, spending more time with their precious grandbabies, we wish them nothing but happiness, relaxation, and wonderful family memories.

While we will certainly miss having you as Caretakers, we are so happy that you will remain part of our Lake Connor Park family! ❤️

Eric and Jen, thank you for everything you have done over the years. Your dedication, generosity, and willingness to give back to our Park have not gone unnoticed. You leave behind a legacy of service that is deeply appreciated.

Good morning campers! Unfortunately, due to illness, the Membership office has no staff today. For any urgent matters, please contact Jo O'Donnell-Hopper (Park Manager), who will be in and out of the office today on her cell # 425-309-1002.

Ahna in Accounting is here so if you want to come in to make a payment, please come back to the Accounting office and she will be happy to assist you, OR you can call the main number 425-334-5055 and select option "3" and you will be transferred back to her office where she can assist you over the phone.

ATTENTION: BEAR SIGHTING
Lake Connor Park Members,
We want to make everyone aware of a bear sighting reported near the end of Canyon Trail.

Ryan Lynn reported photographing the bear at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday night. A photo of the bear is attached for reference.

Please use extra caution when walking in this area, particularly during the early morning and evening hours. For your safety:

• Keep children and pets close and under control.
• Do not approach, follow, or attempt to photograph the bear at close range.
• Never feed or leave food out for wildlife.
• Secure garbage, pet food, coolers, and other items that may attract wildlife.
• Give the bear plenty of space and a clear route to leave the area.
• If you encounter the bear, remain calm and slowly create distance. Do not run.
• Please report additional sightings to LCP Security and include the location and approximate time.

The bear is wildlife moving through its natural environment. Our goal is to make sure members are aware of its presence and take appropriate precautions.

Please remain alert while enjoying the park.

**REMINDER**
This is a reminder that statements are being emailed tomorrow 10/1/26 so please keep an eye out in your email for those! Beginning on 7/1/26, we started emailing statements using our new system. As with switching over to any new system, there were a few kinks and we heard your frustrations and have changed things around a little to hopefully alleviate some confusion for this quarterly billing.

Last quarter, our system was set up to send each individual invoice on the invoice date as well as a statement on the 1st of the month. Many members were frustrated with receiving so many emails from us and were confused about why the invoices were sent separately. We have decided to turn the feature off for sending individual invoices and instead, you should ONLY be receiving a statement that lists all your open invoices on it. Please check your email for more details as an email was just sent out with more information as well!

Please note that you do not HAVE to pay online, you can still pay all the ways you could before:
• call 425-334-5055 and pay over the phone with a credit card
• mail us a check to 14320-28th St. NE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258
• pay in person in the Membership office Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm with either check, cash, debit card or credit card
• drop off a payment outside of our normal business hours by utilizing our night drop slot located on the outside of the Park Manager's office for check or cash payments (please put them in an envelope and write your site # on it for easy identification when our Membership employees enter your payment the next business day)
• Pay online by clicking on the "view and pay" button from your statement by either card or ACH (electronic check) which is now available with this new system and free of any added fees!

Prowlers, cougars and BEARS! OH MY!

We just had a member come into the membership office who had heard what he thought was a bear growling, found s**t and paw prints near his trailer in phase 2 near Bath House 13. Keep an eye out and keep your littles close!

In September 2025, LCP Stewardship teamed up with the Washington Waterfowl Association-NW Chapter to have 1 Wood Duck box installed on our lake to provide a habitat for the ducks to nest in. We were told it would take possibly 2-3 years before we would see any activity in the box. Please click on the PDF to see the progress.
