Unfortunately, Maintenance was unable to complete the necessary repairs to the women’s side of Bathhouse 16 as we had anticipated. The repairs are now scheduled to commence during the second week of September.

I understand the frustration, especially after waiting for the bathhouse to reopen, and I apologize that we were unable to complete the work as originally planned.

Please know that access to the bathhouse facilities is important for all our members, regardless of whether their individual site has septic service. We appreciate your patience while we work to get the women’s side repaired and reopened.

High Fire Danger – Complete Outdoor Burn Ban in Effect Friday, August 7, 2026

Snohomish County, Wash., August 6, 2026 — Due to the continued fire danger risk and shared resources assisting with wildland fire efforts in the state, the Snohomish County Fire Marshal has ordered a Stage 2 Burn Ban placing restrictions on all open burning. It will be in effect until further notice.

Effective at 12:01 a.m. on August 7, 2026, all open burning is prohibited in Snohomish County. This ban is in conjunction with burning restrictions placed by the Department of Natural Resources and the US Forest Service, which include campfires.

All outdoor burning is prohibited during this ban, including residential yard debris fires and recreational fires in fire pits until further notice.

Propane fire tables and other gas-fueled cooking appliances are allowed. Self-contained wood pellet grills and cooking devices (only if placed on a concrete or other non-combustible surface) are allowed. Charcoal grills are allowed. Charcoal and ash should be discarded in a metal container and be doused with water. The container should be kept ten feet from vegetation or combustible materials for 72 hours.

For the duration of this burn ban all outdoor burn permits are suspended.

This ban will remain in effect until there has been a sustained period of rainfall or the fire risk is reduced.

In addition to this upgrade, the Governor issued a proclamation extending the state-wide existing Stage 1 Burn Ban until September 30, 2026. This means that a stage 1 burn ban will be in effect to the end of September.
