Camp Lester is a mom & pop fish camp, small but big in so many ways! Leo & Joanne Cosce have owned Camp Lester since 1975. There is always fun to be had!

They offer cabins, RV spots, a boat ramp, a small store, campfire and many times a cookout!

One week from tonight, Friday, Jun 5th with be the 2nd leg of our Friday night bass tournaments. Take-off will be at 6pm with weigh-in taking place at camp at 9pm. Entry fee is $60 per boat which includes $10 towards big bass pot. 100% payback, with number of boats determining how many places are paid. No pre-registration, pay evening of event at camp. It will be a 3 fish limit with state regulations (only 1 bass per angler that is 16 inches or larger). Artificial baits only. This is a 2 person team event, but you can fish solo (though this puts you at a disadvantage due to state regulations). Please make sure your boat has working live wells and navigation/anchor lights prior to registration.

Hot Dogs will be served after weigh-in. Hope to see you next Friday!! Please help spread the word.

With 15 boats, we had a great turnout for our first Friday Nighter of the summer!!! 3 fish limit with state regulations.

1st place ($500): Brian and John Stahl
9.35lbs

2nd place ($180): Steve and Sonya Dawson 9.05lbs

3rd place ($70): Tanner and Brooke Pope
9.00lbs

Big Fish ($150): Steve and Sonya Dawson
6.40 lbs

Great job everyone and thank you to everyone who turned out to fish and came to weigh-in. Definitely a great evening all around.

Our next scheduled Friday Nighter will be on June 5th, but be on the lookout, we may add another Friday to May, since we have 4 more Fridays this month. We will keep you up to date on Facebook.

We are bringing back our Summer Friday Nighter Bass tournaments starting in May.

Our first tournament will be Friday, May 1st. The tournaments will tentatively take place the first Friday evening of each month(though additional dates could be added). Takeoff will be at 6pm with weigh-in taking place at camp at 9pm. 🔥 Burn Notice: The SFWMD plans to conduct a prescribed burn on approximately 1,400 acres at the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes Management Area in Osceola County today, Friday, March 20, 2026.

The burn is located on Lake Kissimmee on Bird Island, Strum Island, and the northern shore of Lake Kissimmee.

Results from this weekend's Specktacular Saturday:

Mark Murphy and Jeremy Scarborough won with 8.25lbs and had big fish that was 1.25lbs. Great job guys!!!

It's been a great year with some impressive catches. Unfortunately due to the low turnout of the last 2 tournaments and the low turnout of the April tournament last year, we are cancelling the final tournament. We will pick back up next season in November.

Be on the lookout for information on our Friday night bass tournaments, which will start in May.
