Camp Lester is a mom & pop fish camp, small but big in so many ways! Leo & Joanne Cosce have owned Camp Lester since 1975. There is always fun to be had!

They offer cabins, RV spots, a boat ramp, a small store, campfire and many times a cookout!

It's getting that time of the year. Time for Specktacular Saturdays!!! Please see flyer with tournament dates and rules attached. First tournament will be November 7th.

One change this year is entry fee, we increased it from $50 to $ 60, to allow more payout for places.

We realize the January date conflicts with the Catch 'Em Crappie tournament out of the port, but we are in a bind for Saturday dates in January due to other events.

And yes, we realize there are two February dates. That's prime fishing, so we wanted to take advantage of it.

Please like and share, and hope to see you November 7th!!!

A pair of air pods were found by a customer at camp over the weekend. If you are missing a pair of air pods and can describe the case, let us know we will be sure you get them back.

We sent a little part of Mom Mom out to Sea in her birthplace of Cape May, NJ. We got to experience what she grew up with. It was a great weekend seeing a lot of historical homes and family history. We actually got to leave out of the same marina that her grandfather owned.

Friday's stormy conditions definitely hindered our turnout for the final Friday Nighter of the Summer. We still had 3 diehard teams compete. Fishing was cut about 45 minutes short due to another storm, but a familiar team took home the prize. John and Brian Stahl won with 11.60 lbs and had Big Bass with a 5.45lb anchor. Congrats to John and Brian on their 3rd Friday Nighter win of the summer.

That wraps up our Summer Friday Night Bass Tournament Season. Thanks to all who came out and competed this summer and to those who continue to show support. We will resume our Friday Nighters in May 2027. Follow our page for updates.

Also, stay tuned for updates on our Specktacular Saturdays (Speck aka Crappie Tournaments) which will start in November!!

A week from tonight, Friday, September 4th will be the final leg of our summer Friday night bass tournaments. Take-off will be at 6pm with weigh-in taking place at camp at 9pm. Entry fee is $60 per boat which includes $10 towards big bass pot. 100% payback, with number of boats determining how many places are paid. No pre-registration, pay evening of event at camp. It will be a 3 fish limit with state regulations (only 1 bass per angler that is 16 inches or larger). Artificial baits only. This is a 2 person team event, but you can fish solo (though this puts you at a disadvantage due to state regulations). Please make sure your boat has working live wells and navigation/anchor lights prior to registration.

Hot Dogs will be served after weigh-in. Hope to see you next Friday!! Please help spread the word and let's make this last one the best one yet!!

We are deeply saddened to pass along the news of the loss of a Camp Lester friend who was very much like family.

James “Jim” aka Pop Lyon passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, beside his bride of over 70 years, Agnes. Jim has been a member of this community for over thirty years and was loved by many.

Friends and loved ones are welcome to visit Agnes, their children, and grandchildren this coming Saturday, August 7, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in the Lyon’s Den, their home at 3850 Howard Ave to share happy memories and condolences. Our time with Jim will always be treasured. Go catch a big one up there.
