The Gulfstream Hotel The Gulfstream Hotel was built in 1923 and opened for business in 1925. Renovations are set to begin soon, with keeping the history of the hotel alive.

The Gulfstream Hotel was purchased in May of 2014 by Hudson Holdings and CDS International Holdings. The renovations are set to begin and will transform this 106 room hotel into a 97 room hotel with keeping the hotels natural beauty, as well as adding several amenities. Along with the renovations some of the amenities are set to include over 4000 square feet of flexible meeting space, a 100 seat r

estaurant, and 96 designated parking spaces. The hotel was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Hudson calls the property a "history landmark redevelopment hotel project". The hotel is set to have more than 70% of the rooms have water views while the others will have golf and city views.

During 1988 a Wayne Babb took over the Hotel after prior owners caused the hotel to go into foreclosure. Babb took the initiative to fix the hotel to make it a tourist attraction again. The possibility for the hotel to be auctioned was an option.

The NAPC "Front Porch" is back for the Grand Re-Opening of Evening on the Avenues tonight from 6-10! Looking forward to the unveiling of the NEW Neighborhood Banners and a New NAPC Neighborhood Map!
