It’s been a quiet month on the lake as we’ve been battling two wildfires, the Carr, a mile west & the Hirz, 8 miles east. With dangerous air quality we keep mostly indoors but manage to sneak away here and there to paddle against cabin fever 🤪
Everyday containments grow and the air gets clearer. We’ll be up & running soon!

I always look for ways to get my boys outside. I love the opportunity gives me to spend time with them on the lake. And making a very active toddler drowsy is always a win... 😴🙌🏾

One of the things we love about Shasta Paddle Co is the opportunity to meet amazing people. I met Bryant yesterday and he introduced me to his Kickstarter project. (Link in comments)

The Salt Creek inlet of the Sacramento arm is a great location for Paddleboarding. Our 5 mph speed limit makes our inlet calm and peaceful.
To the right you can paddle towards Salt Creek, watch for otters and deer coming down to the water. To the left paddle under the train bridge, stop off at the white rock or carry on the larger portion of the Sacramento Arm. Watch the water skiers, jet skis and house boats go by.

Located on the Salt Creek inlet of the Sacramento arm our 5 mile an hour zone makes it a peaceful place to paddleboard.
