Two of our cabins, Leisure Lodge & Seldom Inn, are opening up this weekend at Bent’s Camp! 🏕️✨ If you’ve been waiting for a sign to squeeze in one more Northwoods getaway before summer comes to an end… this is it!

Grab your friends and family, pack your bags, and head up to the lake for a last-minute Labor Day vacation. 🚤🌅

Bent’s Camp Annual Musky League Starts 9/9

New this year: Substitutes!

Each team may have up to 3 people eligible to fish from the team’s boat. Substitutes must pay the $100 Musky League dues and will receive a league shirt, dinner at the banquet, and remain eligible for Big Fish and team prizes.

This gives teams some flexibility: if you have 3 people on your team but one person can’t make particular league dates, you can designate an additional member to fish in their place that day.

A few important rules:
• No more than 3 people in the boat on any given league day
• Only one boat per team is allowed
• All substitutes must pay the $100 league dues
• Substitutes are eligible for Big Fish and team prizes
• Substitutes receive a league shirt and banquet dinner

Did you know that long before Bent’s Camp became what it is today, the Northwoods logging life was as wild as it gets? 🌲🪓

Back in the late 1800s, young men carved out a living in the dense white pine forests through freezing sub-zero winters. Cabins were built without a single nail, loggers stamped each tree with their own unique iron “lumber mark”, and some logging camps even forbade the loggers from talking to each other during meals just to keep the peace! 🤫🤐

From seasonal farmers to folks hiding out from their pasts, the men who cleared these woods all had a story to tell.
