It looks like a goregous weekend coming up! Get out on the river! Our vans are ready to get your groups out on the river for tubing, canoeing or kayaking.

Outfitter services- Open to ALL!!
You do not need to be a camper at Eagle cliff Campground to use our outfitter services! We are happy to get you set up with the gear you need and get you out on the river! You will park right at the campground, we bring you up to the drop site, and you float right back to the campground, to your vehicle! We provide services 7 days a week. Tubing, Canoeing and Kayaking!!

Outfitting Our outfitting is open for the 2026 season! We take reservations up to 48 hours in advance. With the proximity to the Root River and the Root River State Bike Trail, you can enjoy the outdoors and experience the beauty of the area near Eagle Cliff Campground. The 2nd annual Christmas in July was a success at Eagle Cliff campground. The annual float with Santa was a huge success, 100 tubers!! Thank you all that came out to tube with Santa!
Tom Carpenter started the weekend off on Friday night!
Bruce and Virgil rocked the night on Saturday, they drew the dancers out and provided so many sing along songs!!

We will be collecting food for the food drive through Thursday this week.

Stay tuned for some changes to 2027's Christmas in July. Start planning your decorations for you sites! We saw many fun and festive decorations out in the weekend sites!! Thank you for helping provide some holiday cheer!!

Great news—the Root River is OPEN!

We're excited to announce that tubing, canoeing, and kayaking are back! With beautiful weather in the forecast, it's the perfect weekend to get out on the river.

You do not need to be camping with us to enjoy our river trips. Everyone is welcome to book a tubing, canoeing, or kayaking adventure with Eagle Cliff Outfitting!

Camping Update: We did have two last-minute cancellations for two sites with water and electric for this weekend. We also have a variety of campsites available for next weekend. If you've been thinking about planning a camping trip, now is a great time to reserve your site.

Food Drive:
We will have boxes out for the annual food drive. Please consider donating. Toiletries, non perishable food items or cash. We will deliver the donations to Semcac.org food bank in Rushford.

Good news - we're planning on reopening our tubing to the public today, July 14th. However, we will not be taking any canoes or kayaks yet. We are hoping all debris gets cleared on the South Branch of the Root River before the weekend. Stay tune for updates.
