UPDATE as of 05-24-2026:

-Reservations are in! If you are unsure that yours was inputted to our system, please reach out and we will confirm with you.

-Water is on but some areas are still froze up. If you see a spigot running, that probably means the water finally came through. Please let the manager or the tenant know.

-We are fully aware there are SEVERAL spigots that need replacing, etc. We will be going around to all spigots to check/work on them but it will take us some time.

-We are fully aware that there are dandelions galore! We will be spraying next week. Please be cautious and aware.

-We are also fully aware of the pocket gophers and are hoping to get that taken care of next week too. This may create a bit of a mess around certain areas of the park, so please be cautious and aware.

-Docks are in other than the fishing pier. We are waiting on some new parts and poles to arrive for that and we will have it in. The Water Board is looking into some things to POSSIBLY replace some of the older docks that we have as they’re in pretty rough shape.

-Aquacide will be put into the dam this next week by the beach and dock areas. Please be cautious and aware during this time.

Lastly, we have FOUR new employees this summer! Please be patient as they learn some new things and how to navigate the park and office.

We are excited for another season! It seems like the nicer weather is here to stay at least for a few days. Camping season is officially here!

The weather looks like it’s finally making a change from here on out 🤞🏻

With that being said, the water will be turned on tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th, so we can monitor throughout the day.

All of our employees are still in school, so office hours for this weekend are as follows:
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 11:00-3:00
Sunday: 9:00-12:00

The gates are officially open at the Mt. Carmel Dam Recreational Area as of this morning!

We are aiming to have our official opening day as Friday, May 8th, weather permitting as always.

We are looking forward to another season!
