It’s LaPorte York RIte 5th Thursday Ladies Night Dinner! We love this tradition at La Porte and it was yet another great turnout, this time at Drift on La Porte’s beautiful Pine Lake! We just love those months with 5 Thursday’s in them! Join us with your ladies brothers for the next one on October 30th and see what our York Rite family is all about! I will make sure to post an update once we have the next location set for our fun evening with the ladies!

Excelsior Brothers, come out and support both La Porte Chapter as they celebrate 175 years, as well as our very own WB Joe Villarreal the Most Excellent Grand High Priest of Indiana. Both the rededication ceremony and Grand High Priest’s Reception is open to the public!

The La Porte York Rite Bodies will be voting on all received petitions for membership at our next stated meeting which will be held on January 5th. This is in preparation for our next class which will likely start in January. It was a proud day for one of Excelsior Lodge #41’s and La Porte York Rite’s very own, WM Dion Diakis as conferred apon him was one of the highest honors a York Rite Mason can receive in Freemasonry, The Knight York Cross of Honour (KYCH). To even be eligible to to receive the honor, one has to have successfully gone though the lines and completed a full term in the East in the following 4 York Rite bodies: Worshipful Master of His Lodge, High Priest of his Chapter, Illustrious Master of his Council, and Eminent Commander of his Commandery of Knights Templar! He now joins one of only three other living Excelsior #41 Brother’s as recipients of the KYCH.  join me in congratulating our Worshipful Master Dion on this high honor!
