In 1982, an 18-year-old Álvaro “Parra” Bustamante began his journey at La Posada. Forty-four years later, he returned to the exact same spot—now as our Chief Engineer and one of the most respected members of our team.

For more than four decades, Parra has been the steady hand behind the scenes, helping preserve the beauty, character, and history of La Posada for generations of guests and employees alike.

His loyalty, craftsmanship, and commitment are a rare gift and a true reflection of what La Posada stands for.
