Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives fighting for the freedoms we cherish. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day at Lake of the Ozarks is often filled with family, friends, sunshine, and time on the water — but above all, it is a day of remembrance. As we gather at the lake, we honor the sacrifice of those who never made it home and hold gratitude in our hearts for the freedoms they protected.

May we celebrate this day with joy, togetherness, and never forget our heroes who made it possible. ❤️🤍💙

Five years ago, our family woke up at Lake House Hotel to serve the one reservation we had at Buck Creek Cottage. ☀️🏡

We ended that season with two properties and one owner who believed in an idea we felt could become something special.

Today, we wake up to the lake view we now call home with 190 arrivals across 201 active listings and another 20 homes waiting in the wings for summer success. 🌊✨

It’s a powerful thing to believe that something good can become something significant.

None of this happens without an incredible team, supportive homeowners, local partners, and a lake community that stepped in and believed alongside us. We are grateful for every guest, every owner, every employee, and every relationship that helped build this story. ❤️

Here’s to the 2026 season at Lake of the Ozarks and all the memories still waiting to be made. 🚤☀️🌅
