Tonight we welcome back Dylan Guthrie to The Nest on Ninth starting at 6 PM. 🎶

Born in Lawrence, KS, singer and guitar player Dylan Guthrie returned stateside from Seville, Spain in 2020 and now resides in Kansas City. His tastes are best represented by a simmering cauldron of retro pop, classic rock, soul, and jazz all mixed into a rootsy mélange (we can smell it from here!). He is known for his soulful tenor vocals and an energetic stage persona. Currently his main creative project is KC’s Low-Pressure System. Trained in both classical and jazz music, Guthrie blends the sounds of past and current generations into his own groove-based blend of feel-good roots music. Guthrie has supported acts such as Rayland Baxter, Satsang, George Clinton, and G Love & Special Sauce as well as performing on stage with members of Peter Frampton Comes Alive, Lettuce, and other international acts. Spreading joy through music during uncertain times.

Singer Songwriter, and Cover Tune Extraordinaire. Amanda Hughey can play any event from a classy wedding, filled with Etta James and Adele, all the way to a H***y Tonk. Original music is obviously her passion, but she loves to work playing all of your favorite cover songs.

Miki P is a songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist with an astute ability to resonate and connect in the spaces she performs in. A natural talent paired alongside a drive to connect with others, Miki is a Kansas City native and touring artist carrying on elements of rock & pop. Settled with a message resonating loud and clear to people from all walks of life through her imaginative, fun, and confessionally honest songwriting, Miki sings of love in all its forms.

The N!te Owls are a Kansas City based alternative/folk duo. With influences ranging from The Lumineers, The Civil Wars, and In The Valley Below. The N!te Owls combine multiple instrument combos, with spot on harmonies and an ever-changing style throughout the performance.

Tonight we welcome Adam Stuber to the Nest on Ninth. Adam will go on at 6 PM! 🎶

Adam is an accomplished singer/songwriter and guitarist who has been playing around KC and surrounding areas for going on 10 years, both as a solo artist and with various bands. He is currently the lead singer and guitarist for the band Cantaloupe City. His dad being a musician and multi-instrumentalist, Adam grew up surrounded by music and has a profound appreciation for all kinds of music. He has always believed in the motto “good music has no genre” which is represented in his diverse set list of covers and originals that blend pop, blues, rock and country. Adam performs solo using a looper pedal so is able to do more with less than your average solo musician. He is also great at reading the crowd and can easily adapt to what is required for the venue. Playing everything from top 40 covers spanning decades to instrumental background/dinner music, Adam is equipped to handle it all!

Austin is an uber-talented singer, guitarist, and pianist, who has played regularly in many venues in KC, as well as internationally on cruise ships. He has performed with the well-known Kansas City bands, Lost Wax and Twice on Sunday.
